New Poekoelan Community

       With the thaw comes new life. The grass turns green, the flowers are growing, the birds come back, and Poekoelan Tjimindie has its own Facebook type site. That right, it's called the Poekoelan Tjimindie Community, and we have some great people registering. We have students of Willy and Roy's students are signing up. We also have the author (Sam Nicotero) of the book call, "In Self-Defense". This book is about the fight between Willy and Roy (Father and Son) in March, 1975 which left Willy dead. Sam also includes court records in his book. Come join us at the Poekoelan Community.

       Only by you taking a stand saying this infighting must stop can we move on as one family, with many Teachers and Masters. We have actual articles, pictures, and other history in our art. This community is truly the biggest resource for Poekoelan Tjimindie on the internet.

      The "In Self-Defense" book is also being made into a movie by screenwriter and Poekoelan Community member Brad Thornton. The deadly fight that took place between Willy and Roy, Father and Son, and teacher and student that resulted in the death of the father, and a murder trial for the son. The makings of any Kung Fu movie, but this one actually happened. This fight resulted in 30 years of bad blood between Poekoelan schools. Now because of Communities like this, we are getting this all behind us, and banding together once again.
